The five roles: who may do what
Admin, Planner, Team Lead, Employee and Purchasing/Warehouse at a glance — one table shows which role may edit which area by default.
Which role someone has is shown under Settings → "Accounts & Access"; this article says what the five roles may do by default.
- Admin — full access: business settings, access accounts, all features.
- Planner — planning and scheduling: orders, releases, templates, workstations and stations.
- Team Lead — day-to-day control: editing orders and work steps, acknowledging conflicts.
- Employee — execution: own tasks, booking time, withdrawing materials.
- Purchasing/Warehouse — inventory and procurement: item master, stock postings, to-buy list.
The overview
All five roles may see the same records: orders, offers, customers, items, conflicts and absences. The calculation behind them is the exception — who gets to see purchase prices and surcharges is in the table. And every role may clock themselves in and out, request their own absences and withdraw materials. The table therefore shows only who may change or trigger something.

What only the Admin may do
These permissions are assigned to no other role: changing the business settings · inviting users, changing their role and deactivating access · permission management · billing and plan · managing plugins · emptying the trash for good · deactivating customers · running a CSV import · exporting employees · changing qualifications · deleting other people's comments · deleting customer data under GDPR · contract & legal.
The plain user list is also visible to the Planner and the Team Lead — they cannot change anything there.
Permissions are one thing, the plan another
The two work independently. A feature the booked plan doesn't include is invisible even to the Admin — no permission in the world brings it back. What your own plan contains is shown in the plans compared; which of the two locks is currently in effect is answered by I don't see the menu item.
