Work calendar, go-live, and overtime rules
The Working Time Model page in Settings: workdays and public holidays, the system start date for the time accounts, carryover limit, and timer auto-stop.
The operating rules for time tracking are all in one place: Settings → "Working Time Model" — click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then pick that entry. Admin and Planner see the menu item; only the Admin may change the values ("Sie haben keine Berechtigung, das Arbeitszeitmodell zu ändern."). The recorded actual hours live next door in the main navigation under Time Tracking.
The work calendar
This is where you set when the company works: Workdays, "Start of work"/"End of work", break times, and "Net working hours/day" — the basis for target hours, capacities, and the scheduling calculations in planning. Plus the "Federal state" ("Public holidays are calculated automatically for the selected federal state."), the "Disabled public holidays" for days on which work does happen after all, and company holidays.
The go-live date
The "System start date (go-live)" card determines from when the working-time accounts count: "From this date, working-time accounts are kept. Months before go-live cannot be closed." Without a date: "Not yet configured — working-time accounts are disabled."
Overtime and timer
- "Overtime rule": the "Annual carryover limit (hours)" for the year-end closing — empty means "No limit — all overtime is carried over."
- "Signature fields in the timesheet" — the toggle for the signature lines in the PDF timesheet.
- "Timer settings": after how many hours a forgotten task timer stops automatically — configurable from 1 to 24 hours, default 12.
