In the employee profile you record once which qualifications each person has — CNC operation, veneer sanding, welding, driver's license. As soon as you assign a task, Gantway automatically checks whether the qualification matches. If it's missing, there's a warning — before the journeyman is already standing at the machine.

Status and sequence per order
Every order runs through five statuses: Draft, Planned, Released, In Progress, Completed. Tasks within an order have finish-to-start dependencies — edge sanding only starts once the CNC run is finished. Orders that stay in one status longer than expected are automatically marked as "stale".
