Everything you move on the desk is immediately real planning: drag a task to a different day, a different station, or a different employee, and Gantway changes exactly that value — and the conflict engine checks the change while you are still releasing. Utilization bars under every station and every employee show in traffic-light colors where there is still room. The timeline calculates in working hours instead of calendar days and automatically skips weekends and holidays. And if a move goes wrong: undo reverts up to 50 steps. That keeps planning as fast as on the whiteboard — except that it does the math for you.

Three modes in one interface
Matrix board with configurable X and Y axes (status, station, employee, slot), Gantt timeline with eight zoom levels, and project grid for the order overview. You switch with a click — data and selection are preserved.
Eight zoom levels in the Gantt
From 15-minute detail to the monthly view. Weekends and holidays are automatically compressed (working-time compression). When you zoom, tasks are scaled visually without you losing your bearings.
Drag & drop, even on tablets
You move tasks with the mouse or by finger drag to a different slot, a different station, or a different employee. Smart snapping automatically aligns them to working days and shifts. The touch support is deliberately designed so that the desk also works smoothly on tablets in the workshop or on the job site.
Utilization per station and employee
Utilization bars show in real time how full each station and each employee is. Traffic-light colors (green/yellow/red) make bottlenecks visible before they become a problem.
Undo / redo in Gantt mode
Every planning change in the Gantt can be undone — up to 50 steps back, with Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z. Ideal for exploratory planning: you try something out, see the result, and return to the initial state if needed.
Team dock for quick assignment
The team dock appears on planning views and shows in real time who is available. Employees can be assigned directly to tasks by drag & drop — especially handy in Gantt mode for spontaneous rescheduling.
Stays fast — even with a thousand tasks
Even more than 1000 tasks at once are displayed smoothly. Gantway shows only what you are currently viewing — the rest waits in the background. That keeps the display quick, no matter how large your order backlog grows.

Monday morning, daily planning
You open the desk and immediately see which orders are running today, who is assigned where, and whether there are bottlenecks. One click on an employee shows their utilization for the entire week.
Spontaneous rescheduling
A journeyman is out sick — you drag their tasks to other employees. Gantway warns immediately if this creates new conflicts.
Project planning across weeks
In Gantt mode with the "Week" zoom level, you see the entire quarter. Dependencies between tasks are shown as arrows, and the critical path is highlighted.
