Moving orders and tasks

Moving is the heart of the planning board (sidebar → Desk, "Board" mode): grab a card, drag it to another column, done. Gantway reports "Moved successfully." and recalculates the conflicts automatically in the background.

When dragging doesn't work, it's almost always down to one of three rules:

1. The role

• Only Admin and Planner may drag order folders.
• Task cards may additionally be dragged by Team leaders.
• The Employee role moves nothing — it works through what's been planned.

2. The grouping

With grouping set to "Order status", dragging is switched off entirely. A status change is a deliberate decision with consequences (release, visibility for the team) — that happens in the order itself, not through a card slipped out of place.

3. The device

On the phone there is no dragging. Instead, each card offers the actions "Change station" and "Assign employee" — same effect, more precise on a small screen.
