Archive: finding and reactivating completed orders

Completed and canceled orders disappear from the board — but not from Gantway. Where they live, how the search works and how an order comes back into work.

Completed orders clear the board — and end up in the desk's archive (sidebar → Desk"Archive" button). Anyone can find them there again, with a toggle between the two views "Completed" and "Cancelled".

Searching and viewing

The archive offers a search ("Search by customer, project…") and a from/to date range filter across the scheduled order dates. The table shows the title, customer, the completion or cancellation date, and the task tally. "View details" opens the order read-only — all roles are allowed to look things up.

Reactivating

If the completion was premature — the complaint came in after all — "Reactivate" brings the order back. The confirmation says what happens: "Do you want to reactivate this order? It will reappear on the board."

  • Only Admin and Planner may reactivate.
  • The order jumps straight to "In progress" — not back to Planned or Released. After all, it had already been through every phase.
  • The work steps stay on "Done" and are reopened individually as needed — that way it stays visible what was completed on the first pass.
