Subgroups (Swimlanes)
Rows by customer, station, or employee — the board's second dimension. Where subgroups are available and where they are deliberately not.
Subgroups additionally split the board into rows; the columns become a matrix. This lets you see, for example, stations as columns and one row per customer: who gets what this week?
How to turn on rows
The "Sub-groups" selection in the bar above the board (sidebar → Desk) offers "Off", "Order/Customer", "Station", and "Employee". Each row can be collapsed and expanded individually, handy when only one customer is of interest.
Where subgroups don't work
Three limits, all by design:
- Not on mobile: there the board is reduced to the essentials.
- Not with grouping by "Order status": status columns and resource rows would create a misleading mix.
- Not the same dimension twice: whatever the columns already represent is no longer available as a row. Station × station tells you nothing.
