Saved views

In the Orders, Offers, Customers and Inventory → tab "Articles" lists, a button with a bookmark icon sits next to the search field, labelled "No view" at first. That is the entry point: set the list up the way you need it, then store the result under a name (up to 60 characters) via "Save current view as …".

What a view contains

What gets stored are filters, sorting and column configuration. The search term is deliberately not saved — it belongs to the moment, not to a lasting view.

Views are private: everyone manages only their own, colleagues never see them. Up to 20 views are possible per list.

The default view

In the save dialog, the option "Open this list with this view from now on" makes the view the default; afterwards you can do the same via "Set as default". The view then carries the "Default" badge and applies automatically the next time the list is opened. There can only ever be one default view per list. "Remove as default" undoes it.

Also in the menu: "Rename" changes the name only, "Leave view" returns to the unfiltered list, "Delete view" removes it permanently — "Your orders, offers, customers and articles are not affected."

The filters a view can be built from

Two lists can do more than before since views arrived:

• Orders: "Filter by status" lets you tick several statuses at once. On top of that comes a period made of "Planned start from" and "Planned end until" — it "shows orders that start on or after the start date and are due to finish by the end date."
• Inventory → tab "Articles": filters by "Supplier" and by "Article class" ("Piece goods" or "Consumable").

Only with those is a view such as "My overdue orders" constructible at all.
