Notifications and email delivery
The bell collects system messages and mentions. Four email delivery modes from bundled to none — and a type matrix for fine-tuning.
The bell at the top right of the sidebar, on a phone in the header bar, collects everything you should know, in two tabs: "System" (status changes, assignments, conflicts) and "Mentions" (@-mentions in comments). The small counter on the bell counts unread items; from ten on it shows "9+".
Emails: the delivery mode
Under Settings → "Notifications" (every role sees this entry) you choose how much of it should land in your inbox:
- "Bundled (recommended)" sends one summary email about what has accumulated; the send run currently starts once a day in the morning. If you are working in the app and reading the messages there, you get no email.
- "Immediate" sends every notification individually, without delay.
- "Daily" sends one summary in the morning around 7 a.m.
- "No emails" keeps everything in the app.
Emails only go out for unread items. What you have already read in the app is not sent afterwards.
The type matrix
Below that, you can set separately for each category whether it arrives in the app and whether it arrives by email: orders, tasks, quotes, materials, staff, mentions and conflicts. Two special cases:
- Conflicts cannot be turned off in the app; they are too important to be missed.
- Mentions have only an email switch; in the app they always arrive.
