Comments on the order
Agreements where they belong: on the order. With @-mentions, tags for questions and blockers — and internal comments the workshop cannot see.
Agreements stay on the order instead of getting lost in messenger threads. That is what the "Comments" tab is for: in the sidebar go to Orders → open the order → tab "Comments". The input field tells you right away how it works: "Write a comment… (@name to mention)".
The tools
- @-mentions send the named person a notification; up to 20 per comment.
- Tags such as "Question", "Decision" or "Blocker" make the comment filterable and its urgency visible. The default "No tag" simply means: without a keyword label.
- Done / Reopen checks answered questions off instead of deleting them.
- Reactions such as thumbs up and down, checkmark, question mark and flame give quick feedback without a comment of your own.
A comment holds up to 5,000 characters. The tab flags anything unread with a marker.
Internal comments
The toggle sets each comment to "Internal (Admin/Planner/Team lead only)" or "Visible to everyone". Employees and purchasing/warehouse do not see internal comments. That is the place for costing notes or customer internals that do not belong on the shop floor.
