Schedule & assign in one step

The scheduling dialog settles date, team and work location in one pass.

Parts of this dialog are not translated; German labels are quoted with the meaning in brackets.

How to complete the pass

1. Open the dialog via Offers → open the offer (status "Accepted") → "Auftrag einplanen" (schedule order), or via Orders → open the order → status card → "Planen" (plan) or "Freigeben" (release). It is the same dialog.
2. Choose the date: a start date (forward planning) or an end date (backward planning), guided by the traffic light. How to read it is covered in Scheduling an order — suggestions and traffic light.
3. Assign the team — up to 50 people per order.
4. If needed, do the fine distribution and put individual people on individual line items.
5. Choose the work location per line item: a workstation or a station, never both. The location determines whose capacity is taken up.
6. Click the completion button. Depending on the entry point it is called "Einplanen & zuweisen" (schedule & assign, from the offer), "Einplanen & freigeben" (schedule & release, from "Freigeben") or "Planen & zuweisen" (plan & assign, from "Planen").

By default admin and planner may open the dialog; "Planen" team leads too, but only for orders assigned to them.

At the end comes either the plan or the release, depending on the entry point. Once the order is released, the team sees it under "My Work" straight away.

Released does not mean started

The status "In Progress" does not come from the release, but automatically as soon as the first work step goes into progress — via a status change, stopping a timer or the first time entry. So the workshop starts the order itself, through work rather than administration.
