Searching and filtering customers

The search field of the customer list (sidebar → Customers) tells you itself what it can do: "Search customers (name, company, no., email)…".

Recurring combinations of filter, sorting and columns do not have to be set up again every time — you can save them as a view.

The search

It searches first name, last name, company, customer number and email, case-insensitively. "smith", "Smith" and "SMITH" all find the same thing; even a fragment of the customer number ("KD-01") is enough.

Filtering and sorting

• Active filter: "All", "Active" or "Inactive". By default the list shows all customers, with deactivated ones marked accordingly; the filter hides them when needed.
• Tag filter: select one or more tags. Multiple tags act as an AND: "Regular customer" plus "Commercial" shows only customers who carry both tags, not everyone with either one.
• Sorting: by name, among others, and by the "Orders" column, which moves the customers with the most orders to the top.
