The customer file: orders, quotes, comments
Four tabs turn the customer into a file: master data, all orders, all quotes and the comment history with an unread marker.
A click on the customer in the list (sidebar → Customers) opens their file with four tabs that show the whole relationship:
The four tabs
- "Master data" with contact details, address, tags and notes; this is also where editing happens.
- "Orders" lists all of the customer's orders, and the tab carries the count right there. The fastest route to the question "What have we already done for them?".
- "Quotes" lists all quotes along with their status; even the rejected ones stay as a negotiation history.
- "Comments" collects customer-related agreements, on the same principle as the comments on an order. If there is anything unread, the tab shows a blue dot; opening it marks it as read.
On the Premium plan, a fifth tab "Maintenance" is added once maintenance contracts are enabled.
