Stock and missing parts in the control room

A click on the material storage in the hall shows stock, open demand, ordered and missing material — quantities only, no prices.

This feature is only included in the Premium plan. Compare plans

If your hall contains an object of type "Material storage", it is your way into the stock from the live view. A click on it, in the scene or in the list, opens the "Stock" panel instead of the usual station card, headed "Material storage · {name}". Without a placed material storage there is no such entry point.

Right at the top it says: "Total stock of your warehouse — storage locations are not distinguished." So the panel does not show what physically lies on this area, but the stock of your entire inventory.

The four tabs

TabContent
"Stock"articles in alphabetical order with current stock and "Last movement", at most 50, searchable by name or article number. Negative stock is flagged: "Negative stock — check bookings".
"To order"material lines of active orders (scheduled, released or in progress) that still need ordering, with quantity, order, "Needed from" and "Stock now"
"Ordered"the same for material marked as ordered
"Missing"material shortages from the conflict check, per article: "Stock · demand · missing", followed by the affected orders

Each tab shows the number of its entries. If something is missing, the panel opens directly on "Missing", otherwise on "Stock".

"Needed from" is the planned start of the position, otherwise that of the order. If the order has not been scheduled yet, it says "no date". "To order" and "Ordered" are sorted by this date; what needs to be done is on the to-buy list.

The "Missing" tab

"Missing" does not calculate anything itself; it shows the stored shortages of the conflict check. Below them it says "Conflict check as of {time}". For each order you see the required quantity and the procurement status, for example "ordered" or "delivered, but not yet booked in". Acknowledged shortages are listed here too, marked "acknowledged".

Ways out of the panel

  • A click on an article opens it in the inventory.
  • A click on an order selects it in the control room ("Show {order} in the control room") if it appears in this hall. Otherwise it leads to the material of the order file.
  • "All conflicts" below the "Missing" tab opens the conflicts page filtered to material shortages. The link is missing for roles that may not open the conflicts page.
  • "Go to inventory" leads to the inventory page.

Refreshing and point in time

The panel loads when it opens and on demand via "Refresh", not with every update of the scene. "As of {time}" tells you how fresh the figures are. Stock always refers to now: under "Later today" and "Tomorrow" it says "Stock as of now — the selected point in time does not change it."

Material at stations and orders

The cards of other stations show material too: below each running and upcoming position the assigned articles with quantity and status ("from stock", "to order", "ordered", "delivered", "rejected"), plus "missing" for a shortage. The order card shows the material without a position under "Material for the order". More in Material per order.

The panel shows quantities only, no prices, and changes nothing. You keep booking stock and marking orders in the inventory. Viewing it requires the right to read articles, which all roles have by default.

Also known as: stock, material storage, inventory, missing part, missing, to order, ordered, material shortage, demand, article.
