Operating the 3D scene: selection, camera, list, full screen

Rotate, zoom, search and select orders, use the list and key figures — and what graphics level, presentation and full screen do.

You open the live view in the control room via "Live" at the top right. What you see there is explained in Reading the live view; this article is about operating it.

Scene or list

At the top you choose "Scene" or "List". The browser remembers your choice. Without a saved choice, a screen 768 px wide or more starts with the scene, a phone with the list. The list shows the same information as tables and is the right way for keyboard and screen reader users.

The toolbar (bottom right, on wide screens vertical on the right edge) has "Rotate 90° left", "Rotate 90° right", "Zoom in", "Zoom out", "Show whole hall" (house icon) and "Save image (PNG, double resolution)".

The selection is highlighted in the brand color, everything else is dimmed slightly. The camera only pans if the selection lies outside the free part of the view, for example under a card. For an order it fits the whole route: a path on the floor connects the stations, and the waypoints carry the step numbers ("2·3" for two steps at the same station, "2–5" for several). A double-click flies to the target. What the cards show is described in Station, order, person.

A click in the scene also filters the list: "List filtered to: …" with "Clear filter". Esc first closes the selection, then full screen, then the presentation.

Searching and filtering

The field "Search order, customer, station, person…" and the checkbox "Problems only" dim everything in the scene that does not match and shorten the list. Esc clears the search.

The info view recolors corner marks and floor glow: "Status" (state), "Occupancy" (places occupied right now, red above 100%) and "Deadlines" (earliest delivery date at the station). The signal light always shows the state.

Screen layout

If the scene is shown and the content area is at least 1100 px wide, the scene fills the space and collapsible cards float above it: the control bar, "Key figures", "List", the selection and, for an order, the order progress at the bottom left. Below that width the parts are stacked, the "Key figures" button opens the figures, and the list only sits next to the scene from a window width of 1280 px. The card of the selection then slides in from the right, on a phone from the bottom.

Key figures

Counted per hall:

GroupKey figures
People"In the hall", "On an order", "Without timer", "On break", "People without a place" (timer without a station in a hall), "On site"
Orders"Orders in progress", "Without a place" (in the inbox), "Off-site", "Open conflicts"
Deliveries"Deliveries today", "Overdue"

Employees and purchasing/warehouse only see a dash for the people figures, because they do not see colleagues.

Updates

Next to "As of {time}" you see "Live" with a green dot: changes then arrive within a few seconds. Otherwise it says "Updated every 15 s". Data is only fetched while the tab is visible. If there is no response for more than two minutes, the scene fades and a yellow note says that the data is out of date.

Graphics, presentation, full screen

  • "Graphics: Low / Normal / High" only applies to this browser: "Low" saves battery and weak computers, "High" draws finer shadows. Without interaction, the continuous animations rest after a few minutes.
  • "Presentation" (toolbar) switches on all effects with a fly-in; on wide screens the control bar, key figures and list step back. In this mode, "Rotate automatically" turns the camera by itself.
  • "Full screen" shows the scene across the whole screen.
  • In the dark theme, it is night in the hall.

If the scene stutters or is missing, see The 3D view stutters or is missing.
