Material line item from inventory
Add an item from inventory to the quote — with a locked purchase price and an adjustable sale price. And why no material demand arises yet.

On the quote, in the "Offer Positions" card (sidebar → Offers → open the quote), the "Add material" button opens the "Add material position" dialog with three tabs:
- "From stock" — search for an item, enter a quantity. The "Sale price per unit" is adjustable; the "Purchase (snapshot)" is captured read-only. Snapshot means: if your purchase price rises later, this quote's costing stays at the price from the day it was recorded — the quote does not recalculate itself retroactively.
- "Create article" — the item isn't in inventory yet? Create it here without leaving the dialog.
- "Flat rate" — material with no inventory link, such as outsourced work or small parts as a lump sum.
By default, admin, planner and team lead may create material line items.
