Exploring and deleting the sample data
After you register, your account is filled with a sample company. What it is there for, what the three missions are — and how to start with your own company.
Right after you register, your account is not empty. Gantway has set up a small sample company, matching the industry you specified during registration.
What the sample company contains
One workstation, three stations, four employees, three articles, four customers, four orders, two quotes and two deliberately built-in scheduling conflicts. You can safely try everything with it: move, reschedule, change status. None of it is real.
The three missions
On the dashboard (sidebar → Dashboard), as an Admin you see three exploration missions:
- "Find the planning conflict"
- "Open an order"
- "Look at an offer"
They lead you to the three places where you'll later work every day. The missions are optional; you can also skip them.
Starting with your own company
Once you've seen enough, click "Set up your company". This deletes the sample data and unlocks the setup checklist, which guides you through the next steps: from the company profile to the first released order.
If you later hid the checklist by accident, the "Show checklist again" button under Settings → "Tenant Settings" brings it back, on the page with your company data.
