The trial phase: 14 days of Pro

Registration automatically starts a 14-day trial phase with the Pro scope, without payment details and without a catch in the fine print. For two weeks, everything the Pro plan can do is open: conflict detection, capacity planning, customer portal, inventory.

Before it ends

Gantway reminds you in good time: from 7 days before it ends, a notice appears; from 3 days, prominently: "Your trial period ends in X days." through "Your trial period ends tomorrow." Each carries the "Take out subscription" button, which leads to Settings → "My Plan". Settings → "Billing" also shows the remaining time. Both entries are reserved for the admin.

After it ends

There is no freemium. Without a subscription, access switches to read mode: "Your trial period has ended. Your data is preserved — to keep working, please take out a subscription." Nothing is deleted, and everything you have created waits for the purchase.

On top of the banner there is a notice window in the middle of the screen: "Ihre Testphase ist beendet" (your trial has ended) — "Keine Sorge um Ihre Daten: Aufträge, Kunden und Planung bleiben vollständig erhalten. Ihr Konto ist im Lesemodus." (No need to worry about your data: orders, customers and planning are kept in full. Your account is in read mode.) It appears once per session on first load, and again every time a save attempt hits the lock, so the reason is on screen instead of a bare error. There are two buttons, "Weiter im Lesemodus" (continue in read mode) and, for the admin only, "Tarif wählen" (choose a plan). Everyone else reads the note that only an administrator of the business can pick the plan.

When purchasing

A purchase during the trial phase ends it immediately. The paid plan applies from payment, and the remaining days are not offset. The checkout button names the commitment explicitly: "Pay {Betrag} now — subscribe with payment obligation".
