The trial phase: 14 days of Premium

Registration automatically starts a 14-day trial phase with the Premium scope, without payment details and without a catch in the fine print. For two weeks, everything Gantway can do is open: conflict detection, capacity planning, customer portal, inventory — plus what only Premium includes, such as the control room with the hall monitor and maintenance contracts.

Before it ends

Gantway reminds you in good time: from 7 days before it ends, a notice appears; from 3 days, prominently: "Your trial period ends in X days." through "Your trial period ends tomorrow." Each carries the "Take out subscription" button, which leads to Settings → "My Plan". Settings → "Billing" also shows the remaining time. Both entries are reserved for the admin.

After it ends

There is no freemium. Without a subscription, access switches to read mode: "Your trial period has ended. Your data is kept for now — to keep working, please take out a subscription. If no subscription is booked within 90 days, we may delete it afterwards — we will announce this by email beforehand (terms § 4)." (The banner text itself is German.) Nothing is deleted right away, and everything you have created waits for the purchase. If the business does not book a plan within 90 days after the trial ends, the account and data may be deleted under the terms, after prior notice by email with 14 days' notice.

On top of the banner there is a notice window in the middle of the screen: "Ihre Testphase ist beendet" (your trial has ended) — "Ihre Daten sind noch da: Ihr Konto ist im Lesemodus — Sie können alles ansehen und exportieren, aber nichts ändern, bis ein Tarif gewählt ist. Ohne Tarif dürfen wir die Daten nach den Fristen der AGB löschen (nach der Testphase: 90 Tage mit Ankündigung, nach einem Abo: 30 Tage)." (Your data is still there: your account is in read mode — you can view and export everything but change nothing until a plan is chosen. Without a plan we may delete the data after the periods in the terms: 90 days with notice after the trial, 30 days after a subscription.) It appears once per session on first load, and again every time a save attempt hits the lock, so the reason is on screen instead of a bare error. There are two buttons, "Weiter im Lesemodus" (continue in read mode) and, for the admin only, "Tarif wählen" (choose a plan). Everyone else reads the note that only an administrator of the business can pick the plan.

When purchasing

A purchase during the trial phase ends it immediately. The paid plan applies from payment, and the remaining days are not offset. The checkout button names the commitment explicitly: "Pay {Betrag} now — subscribe with payment obligation".
