Canceling your subscription

There is no notice period. The cut-off is always the end of the period you have already paid for.

This dialog of the app is not translated; the labels below are quoted in German with the meaning in brackets.

How to cancel the subscription

1. Open Settings → "Abrechnung" (billing, section "Erweiterungen"). Only the admin sees this menu item.
2. Click "Abo kündigen" (cancel subscription). The dialog asks: "Sind Sie sicher, dass Sie Ihr Abo kündigen möchten?" (are you sure you want to cancel your subscription?)
3. Read what the dialog promises — more on that below — and click "Abo kündigen" again. Gantway confirms: "Kündigung eingeleitet." (cancellation initiated).

What the dialog promises — and keeps

The dialog is explicit: "Die Kündigung wird zum {date} wirksam. Bis dahin können Sie die App weiterhin vollständig nutzen." (the cancellation takes effect on {date}; until then you can keep using the app in full). And after that: "Nach Ablauf wird Ihr Zugang auf Lesezugriff beschränkt: Sie können keine Daten mehr anlegen oder ändern. Ihre Daten bleiben erhalten und können weiterhin eingesehen und exportiert werden." (once it expires, your access is limited to read-only: you can no longer create or change data; your data is retained and can still be viewed and exported).

Your data is therefore not deleted. After the cut-off, read-only mode applies; viewing, exporting and signing out remain possible. Details under Access restricted.

Reversing and coming back

Up to the cut-off the cancellation can be withdrawn at any time:

1. Open Settings → "Abrechnung" again.
2. Click "Kündigung widerrufen" (reverse cancellation). The dialog names the date on record.
3. Confirm with "Kündigung widerrufen". Gantway reports "Kündigung widerrufen." — the subscription simply continues.

Once the subscription has ended, coming back means taking out a new one under Settings → "Mein Plan" (my plan). All data is still there; you carry on where you left off.
