Data disclosure: your data as a download
One click delivers all personal data stored about you as a JSON file — the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, built in.
What does Gantway store about me? The answer is available at the push of a button: Settings → "Profile", then at the bottom of the page the card "Datenschutz" with the section "Datenauskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO)" (this card is only available in German). It delivers all personal data stored about you as a JSON file.
This is the disclosure about your own user account. Which contract documents apply to the company, and how to download them as a certified copy, is covered in Contract & Legal.
The download
"Download data" immediately delivers the file datenauskunft_YYYY-MM-DD.json. It contains:
- your user profile and the complete employee record (including contract hours, vacation entitlement, hourly rates),
- time entries, absences and clock-ins,
- your own comments, submitted feedback and notifications,
- your own entry in the change log.
The disclosure is complete: even very large data sets are delivered in full, there is no per-category limit.
The right applies to every role — from Admin to employee. Requests are limited to 3 per hour; beyond that, Gantway reports "Too many requests — data disclosure is limited to 3 requests per hour."
