Deleting your own account
Login gone, name and email anonymized — operational data such as time entries stays with the business. What deletion does and does not do.
Under Settings → "Profile", in the card "Datenschutz", section "Konto löschen (Art. 17 DSGVO)" (this card is only available in German). It states that your login will be removed and your name and email anonymized; operational data such as time entries stays with your business.
How deletion works
The red "Delete account" button opens the "Delete account irrevocably?" dialog — to confirm, you must type the exact words "DELETE ACCOUNT", then "Delete account permanently". After that:
- The login is removed — signing in is no longer possible, and you are logged out immediately.
- Name and email are anonymized (the name from then on appears as "Deleted user").
- Operational data stays — posted times, comments and assignments belong to the business's documentation; the dialog names the right point of contact for it — your administrator.
This action is irrevocable.
