The Cockpit: the shift view for the wall monitor

A dedicated view mode with traffic-light cards, an attendance board and a weekly timeline — built for the screen in the workshop.

Not to be confused with the Control room (Premium): your workshop as a floor plan and 3D scene under menu → Control room.

The "Cockpit" button (monitor icon) in the dashboard header (sidebar → Dashboard) switches to a different face of the app: the shift view. It has its own color palette and follows the configured theme: light like a shop-floor display, or dark. For a wall monitor in the workshop that runs all day, the dark theme is the better choice. It is not a full-screen trick but a view mode of its own; "Standard view" takes you back.

What the Cockpit shows

  • Four traffic-light cards: "Conflicts", "Materials", "Utilization" and "In progress". The state of the business at a glance, color-coded.
  • "Shift", the attendance board showing, for example, "4 of 6 present", with live status from the time clock.
  • "This week in the workshop", a 7-day timeline of running and upcoming orders.
  • "Alerts" with the current events and warnings.

The Cockpit needs a signed-in account on the screen. For a workshop TV without a sign-in, there is the hall monitor (Premium).

Also known as: cockpit, control center, wall monitor, shift, attendance.
